policy. The authors expound the main tendency of language policy in a multi-ethnic society. They regard a
values system as one of the main conditions and the result of multicultural state values.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SEMANTIC STRUCTURE OF SOMATIC NAMES IN THE NORM
AND THE DIALECT LAYER
The article compares the development of the semantic structure of words belonging to the common layer in the
norm and the dialect idiom. The analysis showed that words of the common layer can develop both correlating secondary
meanings and meanings proper only to one form of the language existence. In the first case secondary meanings
vary as genus-species names or name different species of the common genus notion. In the second case they
may form normative-dialect synonyme.

PERSONALITY-ORIENTED APPROACH IN THE CONTEXT OF TRAINING
RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
The article considers training Russian as a foreign language as an adaptive process and highlights the aspects
of its implementation on the basis of personality-oriented approach. A dedicated professional qualities of a teacher
having a special significance in adaptation of foreign students. Adaptability is considered as the interpretation of cold-
Tami language "world" and himself in it. The process of learning Russian as a foreign language is presented as pedagogical
system, distinctive feature of which is the productivity and learning-resistant using cluster-concept approach.
In the context of training Russian as a foreign language analysed holistically-personal status of students as a condition
of readiness to speech communication.
