International Scientific Forum dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology

The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) is holding the International Scientific Forum dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology. The organizer of the event is Southwest State University.

The purpose of the Forum is to demonstrate the Russian research potential to a wide range of foreign public.

Dates: December 2-9, 2021

Working languages of the Forum: Russian, English, Spanish; the translation is simultaneous.

The Forum is held in three regions of the world – Asia, Europe, Central and Latin America in the format of videoconferences. The central Russian venue will be located in Kursk, the central continental venues- in Bulgaria, Malaysia and Guatemala/Nicaragua.

Countries, where the Forum will be held online:

Asia: Vietnam, Israel, Malaysia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Iran;

Europe: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain;

Central and Latin America: Argentina, Venezuela, Canada, Cuba, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Chile.

Date, time, venue of the event in Central Asia and LA: December 7, 9:00 (Guatemala) - 18:00 (Moscow); Guatemala, Guatemala city, Central American Parliament PARLATINO. The planned duration of the event is 3 hours.

Date, time, venue of the event in the European region: December 9, 11:00 - 14:30 (Moscow), 10:00 – 13:30 ( Sofia). Bulgaria, Sofia, 34 Shipka str., 1504.

Date, time, venue of the event in the Asian region: December 7, 15:00 (Kuala Lumpur) – 10:00 (Moscow). Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Lorong Ampang 2, Off Jalan Ampang, 205.

The broadcast of the events will be open with free access. Links to the broadcast will be posted on the Forum's website no later than one day before the start.

The main topics of the Business Programs of the continental sections are focused on the demand for research results and technologies in the countries of the regions. The state programs of the Russian Federation and the programs of state funds aimed at financing joint international research will be presented.

Europe: IT and Mathematical modeling; Climate Change; Medicine;

Central and Latin America: Eco-oil; Space; Agrobiotechnologies.

Russian and foreign organizations and individual scientists interested in forming joint international projects and conducting research with the participation of Russian scientific organizations and universities are invited to participate in the Forum.
